These are a few pictures of my close family. These are only a selected few pictures. (Family get them all.)
When we first brought Logan to meet Thor we were a but worried. but he adopted him as he has done with our our grandbabies. Protective instinct.
Me and the boys at our farmstead near Ford City PA. I drove 70 miles each way to work at Pitt Computer Center.
Most of the family here. Joe, Connor, Suzi, Brandi, Travis, Felix me and Kelsey. Heddy is taking the pic while ZZ and Alice play inside. Chi and Susana are not here.
Harley, our current GSD. He is a DDR working dog and extremely intelligent and high energy. Also a sweety when he wants to be. LOL
Skippy. I normally do not like poodles, but this was Dads dog and i could not bear to have him go to a shelter.
Me and our friend Kat. She and I rode to Sturgis together (just good friends) and I met Suzi about 2 months later.
Dad was not able to come to our wedding so we had a bunch of motorcyclists take our wedding to him! Right after I introduced him to Suzi, Dad took me aside and said "You had better marry her before she gets away!" Best advice he ever gave me.
Dad's shop on Harts Run Road. Initially Grandpap was a glass and mirror contractor. He hired Dad, Frank and Bob, although Bob left for Cleveland. When grandpap retired Dad and Frank bought the business and expanded for a few years into homebuilding.
When Brandi and Joe married, they wanted a fast and small ceremony since Joe was entering the Army. Since I am legally a minister of the Church of Universal Life, and since PA has the Quaker marriage, they asked me to do the ceremony. We were in the Alumni gardens on the Penn State campus and I wore my Professor's outfit.
Sox. He was the sweetest kitty cat. He would jump up on me to get scratched and would fall asleep on my lap.
Kelsey took me to Colorado for front-row tickets at Red Rocks for Tedeschi-Trucks band. We were interrupted by a massive thunderstorm but it was still one of my favorite concerts ever!
I had a chance to show the grandkids a comet in the southern sky. I also showed them the lanets. Logan and I do Science class online together every Friday.
Getting the comet into view for my grandkids. Logan is The only family member I can talk to about astrophysics and other areas of science. I also play games with him and he has an amazing aptitude for building things. I suspect he will become an engineer.
Peter Monteverde. One of my Penn State roommates and my best friend. He was a legend, tough as nails but with a good heart. Sadly, years of alcohol took him down. RIP Brother, see ya soon!
Just before he died, I had a chance to take Dad up in a Cessna just like the one he owned. He could not remember where he lived but he remembered EVERYTHING about that plane!
